This photo was taken at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles with a cell phone camera. The current generation of built-in point-and-shoot cameras are actually better than the earliest digital still cameras I used.

I can send a picture message to another cell phone, but the device will also exchange files with a computer that supports Bluetooth.

The idea of a space ship crashed into the side of a building probably makes perfect sense in LA. Passersby acted like it was weirder for me to be taking a picture.

This started as a live sketch, from a few weeks ago. I have been filling in the features from "notes" in the original, shown below. I gave the model a different hair style. The torso has been turned toward us. Check back later, I’m inclined to put more work in on this one.

The eye and lips studies from last week were done to help this drawing turn out better. Does that make sense, or am I wasting my time here online?
