Body art for a Salvador Dali art lover

Here’s a commission by a Dali artwork lover, who wrote, “I am sending this e-mail because i love the ants that u created using Dali’s. I want to make a tattoo using Salvador Dali’s signature mixed with just some ants.”

They’re supposed to send me a photo of what it looks like on their body.

Ants inspired by Dali

I copied these ants from Salvador Dali’s famous “melting clock” painting, The Persistence of Memory, using Flash as a drawing tool. It turns out he did something similar, called The Ants. Dali once said "I always encourage people to reproduce my paintings because I find the reproductions much better than the originals."
